Short Bio

George Chatzistergiou is a civil engineer who writes. He started with the book "Small cities; great secrets" (2000). His novels "Do you have any wealth left?", "Exodus" and the collection of essays "The Earth trembles; people and structures in a changing world", came out in Greece between 2008 an 2011. These three books make up a series related to the so-called "crisis", the ugly social, political an economic process that has been in full swing for some years now in Europe and beyond. His latest book "Masquerade Ball" came out in 2016.

His book "Exodus – a contemporary fairytale for adults" has been translated in English.

His essays are published in leading Greek newspapers and periodicals.
